Twenty Years Ago, the First Shinobi War had begun between Kaze the Wind Country and Kaminari the Lightning Country. The war raging on as some battles were lost and some were won, finally after being convinced the Daimyo of Kaminari signed a peace treaty with Kaze to ensure the peace between the two. After seven years of peace Kazuya Takahata, founder of the Takahata Clan, allied himself with Kaminari and staged a coup d'eat against the Daimyo of Kaze resulting in a full on invasion on Kaze. Hundreads of shinobi were injured and even killed and things took a turn for the worst for Kaze with most of the Takahata Clan slaughtered and Misa's demons eradicating her entire clan along with the staff in the emergency room . With the invasion over Kazuya was never seen again and was presumed to be dead. Now thirteen years later Kaze is rebuilt and a New System called the Ninja's International Squad was created with a new Version of the Special Assassination and Tactics Force. With a new threat rising, Toshi, Misa, Junichiro, Hiroko, and their sensei Tai must uncover the mystery behind this new threat and protect the ninja world as NIS.
